Trail Running calendar near Lealholm 2026-2027

The Calderdale Way Relay is a six leg off road team race on 16 May 2027, starting at Clay House in West Vale and finishing at Spring Hall. Entries open online in December 2026 and are limited to 100 teams on a first come first served basis.

A 32 miles point to point trail ultra around East Lancashire visiting the four Panopticons art installations across South Pennines trails. The route covers about 52 km with 1,430 m of climb and requires navigation and mandatory kit.

Trail races around Hulne Park near Alnwick Castle with 5k, 10k, half marathon and junior 2k options, chip timing and finisher medals. Entries are limited and the event is hosted by Northumberland Estate.

A single stage 160 mile trail ultramarathon along the Cleveland Way and Tabular Hills with over 7000 m ascent and a 50 hour limit. Entries are capped at 60, all runners must have motorised support and trackers are included.

An evening fell race in Hebden Bridge on 1 June 2027 covering 10.4 km with 350 m of climb on a flagged course. Entry on the day is available for £5 and the race holds an FRA permit with UK Athletics insurance.

A 5 km muddy obstacle course through Graves Park woodland and fields, with start and finish by the animal farm. Organised by Cancer Research UK to raise funds for cancer research, the event includes timed wave starts and onsite parking.

Multi distance trail event in the Southern Lake District on 5-6 June 2027 based in Kendal. Distances range from 10K to a 100 km loop that passes Garburn Pass and Lake Windermere, with staffed rest stops and camping options.

Trail running event at Guisborough Rugby Club offering 40 km and 60 km options, solo or relay, with updated routes and profits donated to Teesside Samaritans; finishers receive a medal and event T shirt.

An evening route within The Yomp weekend in Kirkby Stephen, the La Sportiva Sunset Stroll is one of six events held at Pennine View Park and forms part of a volunteer-run festival that raises funds for local charities.
