Event Details

The Get the Hull out of Here event offers six distance options on a single date. The distances are:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • 10 miles
  • Half marathon
  • 20 miles
  • Marathon

The route starts in East Hull and follows the TransPennine Trail on the Hornsea Rail Trail. The course heads towards Hornsea, leaving the city for the surrounding countryside. The terrain is described as a good trail. The course is flat and is described as an out-and-back route for each distance.

Registration is located at the Community Office in Pelican Park Recreation Ground. Parking on-site is available for £5, with funds going to the Community Trust. Dogs are not allowed on the Community Trust grounds.

Included Services

The course is marshalled and signed. Aid stations are provided approximately every 3 miles, offering drinks and food. Participants are asked to bring their own reusable cup or bottle. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and treats.

Important Notes

For safety, participants are asked not to wear large over-ear headphones. Bone-conducting headphones or wearing one earbud is suggested. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association.
