Get the Hull out of Here

Get the Hull out of Here is a trail running event based in East Hull that uses the TransPennine Trail and the Hornsea Rail Trail to run out of the city into surrounding countryside. The course is described as flat and runs on good trail surfaces.

Distances offered include:

  • 5K out and back.
  • 10K out and back.
  • 10 mile out and back.
  • Half marathon.
  • 20 mile made up of two 10 mile laps.
  • Marathon comprised of 20 mile plus a 10K section.

On-course support includes feed and drink stations approximately every three miles, marshals and signage along the route, and post-finish bespoke medals and treats for finishers. The event is licenced by the Trail Running Association under UKA rules.

Practical details noted by the organiser: registration is at The Community Office, Pelican Park Recreation Ground, Lambwath Road, Hull HU8 0EE. Club ground parking is available for a £5 fee with proceeds to the Community Trust, and dogs are not allowed within the trust grounds. The event operates a mostly cup less approach at feed stations so runners are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Large over ear headphones are discouraged and there may be unmarshalled road crossings. Transfers can be self-served up to seven days before the event and runners should notify the nearest marshal if they need to retire. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
