Available race formats include:

The event is held in partnership with Teesside Samaritans. Profits from the event will be donated directly to the Teesside Samaritans branch. The listing includes examples of how donations are used, for example £10, £25 and £44 amounts tied to different services, and a breakdown stating that for every £1 raised, 80p goes to services and 20p is invested in fundraising. The event text also describes Samaritans activity in 2023, including responding to more than 3.3 million calls for help and an average phone call length of about 23 minutes.

Participants receive a finishers medal and an event T shirt. Food and drink are provided at the finish. Checkpoints are fully stocked, the route is fully marshalled with medical cover on course, and organiser notes offer friendly support. The race holds a permit from the Association of Running Clubs ARC 26/0031. Example entry prices shown include £57 for the 40 km, £78 for the 60 km and £88 for a 60 km relay team.
