Samaritans Way Ultra

Samaritans Way Ultra is a trail running event at Guisborough Rugby Club on 6 June 2026. The organiser is U Prevail Events and the event is held in partnership with Teesside Samaritans. Routes were updated from the 2025 courses.

What races are available:

  • 40 km Marathon Run
  • 60 km Ultra Marathon Run

The event includes a relay team option for the 60 km distance. Profits from the event will be donated directly to the Teesside Samaritans branch. The event references the Official Samaritans Way route created by Teesside Samaritans and notes the partnership coincides with National Volunteer Week.

Included for participants are a finishers medal, event T-shirt, food and drink at the finish, fully stocked checkpoints, a fully marshalled route, medical cover on course, and supportive on-course staff. The event holds a race permit from the Association of Running Clubs, ARC 26/0031.

The organiser describes entry categories and multiple entry periods including early bird, standard and late entry, and runs initiatives such as a Samaritans 100 Club for early entrants and a Predictor League that scores entrants by how close they finish to their predicted time.
