Northumberland Alnwick Castle Trail - Hulne Park, Alnwick

The Northumberland Alnwick Castle Trail takes place at Hulne Park on the Northumberland Estate near Alnwick Castle on 24th May 2026. It forms part of the Run Northumberland Castles Challenge Series and offers several measured distances on traffic-free parkland and farm tracks.

The event uses multi-terrain surfaces and includes both flat and undulating profiles depending on the distance. Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport and results are recorded under standard competition rules. Dogs are not permitted on the estate or in any of the races.

Event facilities are based at Race HQ in Hulne Park, with registration at Abbey Lodge (NE66 2JX). Organisers provide bag drop, toilets, changing facilities, parking signage, first aid and refreshments. Distance markers and water provision vary by race; water is available at the finish for some shorter races, at 5 km on the 10K, and approximately every 3 miles on the half marathon.

All finishers receive an Alnwick Castle Trail Run finisher medal and there is the option to purchase a race t-shirt.
