The Yomp - Super Saturday

The Yomp - Super Saturday takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 as part of a multi day festival that reaches its 41st running in 2026. The Saturday programme comprises four courses around the Upper Eden Valley, with routes that start and finish at Basecamp at The Engine Shed in Kirkby Stephen.

The Mountain Yomp is fully way marked and marshalled at key points; the Ultra and Mountain routes have multiple well stocked feed stations. GPS tracking is used on the Ultra and Mountain events and has been introduced for the 20k for safety and progress tracking.

Age requirements vary by course: Ultra and Mountain entrants must be 18 or older, the 20k is open from 16, and the 10k from 5 years with under 16s accompanied by an adult. Food, live music, speakers, retail and a bar are available at Basecamp across the weekend, and camping is offered for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
