ThruDark ULTRA Yomp

ThruDark ULTRA Yomp is the second edition of an ultra-distance fell event held around Kirkby Stephen, crossing areas of Eden and the Yorkshire Dales. The route is a roughly circular 65 km course with 1500 m of ascent that passes notable landmarks such as Wild Boar Fell, the Moorcock Inn, Great Shunner Fell, Thwaite, Keld, Ravenseat and the Nine Standards before returning to Basecamp.

The event includes three well stocked feed stations positioned along the route. Competitors will be GPS tracked for safety and so family and friends can follow progress during the day. Route maps are provided as part of the race information.

Entry is limited to pre-registered online entrants; there are no on-the-day entries. There is a compulsory kit check for all participants and an overall time limit for completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
