North Leeds Skyline (50km, 25km, 15km)

The event is based at Station Top, East Chevin Road, Otley LS21 3BD. The routes run on public footpaths and trail terrain. Parking and race HQ are at Station Top and nearby town centre toilets are a short walk away. Bag storage is provided.

Distances:

  • Ultra Trail: 51 km / 30 miles, approx 1000 m ascent
  • Super Trail: 25 km / 15 miles, approx 650 m ascent
  • Challenge Trail: 16 km / 10 miles, approx 500 m ascent
  • 50 km Relay: teams of four, four legs totalling 50 km

Course marking uses pink signage and tape; distance splits use colour coding: blue for ultra, green for super, yellow for challenge, pink for all routes. A route map and GPX are provided at registration and runners must carry the map. Marshals are present on the Sprint and Super routes; ultra runners move between checkpoints.

Mandatory kit for all races includes a 500 ml water container, the provided route map, a waterproof jacket or extra warm layer, and shoes suitable for off-road running. Ultra runners must also carry a mobile phone. Refill stations and manned checkpoints provide water; snacks are available at Bank Top Farm and Shadwell. No crew vehicles are allowed at Bank Top Farm except relay teams with restrictions. Post race awards are handed out as results come in.
