Event overview

The North Leeds Skyline is an off-road running event organised by Great Owl Running at Station Top, East Chevin Road, Otley LS21 3BD on 6 June 2026. The course uses public footpaths and trail terrain. Race headquarters provides bag storage and there are toilets a short walk into Otley. Parking is available at Station Top.

The Ultra, Super and Challenge routes share some sections and are colour coded on course: blue arrows for Ultra, green for Super, yellow for Challenge, and pink arrows for all routes. Runners receive a route map at registration and a GPX file will be available ahead of the event.

Support and safety

The Ultra has multiple manned checkpoints with water; snacks are provided at Bank Top Farm and Shadwell. Ultra runners may leave a bag to be transported to Bank Top Farm. The event is cupless: runners must carry a 500 ml water container for refills. Mandatory kit for all races includes a route map, waterproof jacket or extra warm layer, shoes suitable for off-road running and a 500 ml water container.
