March 2027

Part of the Kendal Winter League organised by Helm Hill Runners, Cunswick is a fell running event listed in the club's winter series. The club is based in Kendal and focuses on fell running and cross country.

A fully tracked 30 mile trail event in Morland, Cumbria, covering about 3000 ft of ascent through the Eden Valley and the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Four checkpoints supply water and snacks and a 12 hour cutoff applies.

Experience a classic 15 km fell race through the South West Pennines. Starting from Barley Village Hall, this event features 545 meters of ascent and requires navigation skills for all participants.

Take the Fell is a trail running event at Beacon Fell Country Park on 7 March 2027 offering 10k and 20k routes with chip timing, signed courses, finishers medals and event photos; pre-registration and age limits apply.

Trail races at Leighton Hall use scenic farmland and coastal-inland trails in the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape, offering a 10 km route and a 21 km half marathon with marked courses, water stations and an event village.

A coastal ultra along the Northumberland coast from Bamburgh Castle to Druridge Bay Country Park offering 54 km and 27 km routes, shuttle-to-start logistics, feed stations, live chip timing and a bag drop. Early Bird entries are full.

A Lake District trail weekend in Grasmere on 20 and 21 March 2027 featuring a new Half Marathon plus 10km and 5km routes. Scenic courses around Grasmere and Rydal, canicross friendly, live chip timing and finisher extras.

Experience a circular 20 km trail race around the scenic shores of Buttermere and Crummock Water in Cumbria. This fully marked low level route features a mix of woodland tracks and technical lakeshore paths.

April 2027

A 100 km coast to coast ultra from St Bees to Shap following Wainwright’s route through the Lake District. The event emphasises self-sufficiency, offers mapped navigation, staffed aid stations and mandatory kit checks.

Trail run and walk at Guisborough Rugby Club on 4 April 2026 supporting Teesside Samaritans, with 10 km and 20 km options, finishers medals, T shirts, stocked checkpoints and medical cover.
