Gibside Trail Runs

The trail runs take place at the National Trust Gibside Estate in Rowlands Gill, Tyne and Wear. The venue is a historic 18th-century designed landscape with over 600 acres of gardens, woodland, and countryside. Runners may spot deer during the event.

Two trail running distances are offered:

  • 5 km trail run for participants aged 11 and over.
  • 10 km trail run for participants aged 15 and over.

The event is Canicross-friendly, allowing one controlled dog per runner. Live chip-timing is provided, with results available during the event.

All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An exclusive event T-shirt can be added to an entry for an additional fee.
