Hardmoors 26.2 White Horse Trail Races : Sunday 10 May 2026

Hardmoors 26.2: White Horse is a set of circular trail races based at Sutton Bank Visitor Centre near Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The event offers three distances with timed cutoffs and a maximum field size of 250. Routes are not taped or signed; competitors receive downloadable maps, route descriptions and GPX files and are responsible for their own navigation. The organiser provides foot sweepers and medical support across the course.

Mandatory kit must be carried for the duration of each race. Marathon and half marathon kit includes a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, printed route description and map, capacity to carry 500 ml fluid, survival bag, foil blanket and a method to attach the race number. The 10k requires a printed map, survival bag, foil blanket and means to attach the race number; carrying a waterproof and fluid is highly recommended. This is a cupless event so competitors should bring a cup for checkpoint drinks. Dogs are not permitted. Entry windows open in July 2025 with entries closing in April 2026; fees and category prizes are listed by the organiser.
