Course, distances and entry details

The route uses hard-surface paths and runs through Avenham Park, Miller Park, across the River Ribble into Upper Farm nature reserve and back to Avenham Park. Refreshments provided during the event include sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-run goodies.

Distances offered:

  • 10K - 1 loop plus a short out-and-back
  • Half Marathon - 3 loops
  • Marathon - 6 loops
  • Ultra - as many laps as desired within the 6 hour time limit

Ultra runners must start their last lap within 5 hours 15 minutes. Entry fees vary by distance and affiliation: 10K £22-£24; Half £26-£28; Marathon £30-£32; Ultra £36-£38.
