PFW Running - Avenham Amble is a parkland-based running event in Preston, starting and finishing at the Avenham Park Café by the River Ribble. The course uses hard-surface paths through Avenham Park, Miller Park, and Upper Farm nature reserve & leisure park, with a river crossing before returning to Avenham. Distances offered include 10K (1 loop plus a short out‑and‑back), Half Marathon (3 loops), Marathon (6 loops), and Ultra (as many laps as you wish within a 6‑hour limit; last lap must start within 5h15m).
