PFW Running - Avenham Amble takes place on Sunday, 10 May 2026 at Avenham Park Cafe, Preston, PR1 8JT. The event offers four distance options: 10K, Half marathon, Full marathon, and Ultra. Course and logistics

The course starts and finishes in Avenham Park by the River Ribble, passes through Miller Park, crosses the river into Upper Farm nature reserve and leisure park, then returns over the river to Avenham Park. The route uses hard-surface paths and is described as undulating. Specific lap formats are: 10K is one loop plus a short out-and-back, the half marathon is three loops, the marathon is six loops, and the ultra is as many laps as the runner completes within a six-hour time limit (last lap must start within 5 hours 15 minutes). Runners receive a bespoke medal and post-run refreshments including sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial and coke.
