Whittle Pike is a fell race organized by Rossendale Harriers, held at Cowpe Village Hall in Waterfoot, Rossendale (BB4 7DY). The course covers 6.12 miles (9.84 km) with 1,804 feet (550 m) of ascent, producing a challenging elevation profile. The event centre at the Village Hall provides catering, and off-road parking is available with a small charge; please car-share and avoid parking on Cowpe Road. A new course is used for both Open and Women’s races, and the event has a history as a championship race in 1993, 2005 and 2011.
