A 9.7 km fell race in Peak Forest with 247 m of climb, marked route and marshals. On-day registration is at the Reading Room and free parking is provided on the village recreation ground.

A point-to-point trail run from Bury to Rawtenstall alongside the East Lancashire Railway and the River Irwell. Runners try to keep pace with a steam train while supporters can ride the train; finishers receive a medal and T-shirt.
