Northampton Pretty Muddy 5k

The Northampton Pretty Muddy is a Pretty Muddy 5k event organised by Cancer Research UK at Abington Park, Abington Park Crescent, Northampton NN3 3AD. The course runs through the park on a mix of pathways and grass, with the start and finish located at the top of the field next to the event parking. The route includes obstacles where participants climb, crawl and slide.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage numbers on course. Marshals are present to assist and participants may skip obstacles if needed. The event requires participants to be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for children aged 12 and under. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs.

Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event car park is on grass and Blue Badge parking is available in the general event car park next to the site. Bike racks are provided in the park. Showers and bag drop are not available and dogs are not allowed on site. Nearest train station is Northampton, about 4 miles away, and there are numerous bus routes to Abington Park. Electric vehicle charging points are nearest at The County Cricket Ground.

A family-friendly fun run in Coventry featuring giant inflatable obstacles on a 2.5k lap, with distances of 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k, music zones, a finisher medal and on-course water.

An obstacle 5k at Priory Park, Bedford on 25 July 2026 featuring climbs, crawls and muddy obstacles. Organised by Cancer Research UK, it uses staggered wave starts, has basic on site facilities and is not suitable for wheelchair users.
