Phoenix Blaze : Manchester

Phoenix Blaze is the second event in a 2026 Summer Series taking place at Hardy Farm, Manchester on 11 July 2026. It is part of a three-race series that also includes Phoenix Ignite on 13 June and Phoenix Afterglow on 22 August.

The event is a timed, lap-based challenge on a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out and back course along the River Mersey in Chorlton Water Park. Participants may complete one or more laps to reach a chosen distance; the minimum reported distance is 3.28 miles. A bespoke finishers' medal is provided to all participants.

Terrain is off road trail on a riverside towpath with little elevation change. A vegetarian aid station operates throughout the event offering vegan and gluten free items; examples include bananas, dates, jelly sweets, crisps, cake, squash and full sugar cola. The organiser notes that participants with severe allergies should bring their own food and may request specific items at least seven days in advance.
