Round The Runway 5

Round The Runway 5 is a multi‑terrain 5 mile race held on Tuesday 30 June 2026 around the footpaths and quiet lanes that surround Manchester Airport runway 2, and it includes passage through the Bollin Tunnel. The event is based at Wood Lane, Mobberley, WA16 7NY.

Entry is online with a fixed field size; a waiting list is in operation. Age eligibility is 18 to 89 on the race date. The standard entry fee is £14 and UK Athletics members receive a £2 discount. Entries close on Monday 29 June 2026. Availability is shown as fully booked.

Numbers are collected on the night at the start off Wood Lane. Parking near the start is limited; car sharing or using the train to Mobberley is suggested. A Strava route map and a GPX file are available for the course. The event is listed as EA certified with licence pending.

No deferrals are permitted. Online transfers are allowed up to 24 hours before the race for a £3 fee. If the race is full, cancellations up to seven days before the event are eligible for an 80% refund. All race proceeds and any surplus from charges are donated to charity; this year the beneficiary is MNDA.
