Millbrook Monster 10K

The Millbrook Monster is a 10 km trail race organized by Crazy Legs Events in partnership with the Hyde Village Striders. The event takes place on a loop course through the trails of Stalybridge Country Park and across the moors of the Stalybridge Estate. The route is described by the organizers as a demanding course.

The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and operates under UKA rules. Registration is open to participants who are at least 16 years old. The race has an entry limit of 250 runners.

Race headquarters are located at Staley Cricket Club on Oxford Street. The start and finish lines are situated at Stalybridge Country Park off Hartley Street in Millbrook.

All participants who finish the race receive a voucher for a chip muffin from a local fish and chip shop. Awards are presented to the first three overall finishers, as well as veteran and team prizes, depending on the total number of entries. Timing is recorded using a chip system.

A socially paced trail run from Kickback Coffee in Altrincham that pairs a pre run coffee with a post run beer. The point to point route covers 16k along the canal and finishes at Track Brewing Taproom with a free beer.
