Severn Trent Mountain Challenge 2026

The event takes place at Tittesworth Reservoir, Meerbrook, Leek ST13 8SW in Staffordshire and is organised by WaterAid. The challenge offers multiple route options that start from Tittesworth Visitor Centre. Teams set off after a kit check and have their start time recorded officially. Participants navigate the route themselves and should be prepared for varied terrain, inclines and views of the reservoir and surrounding area.

A formal kit list is required for both individuals and teams. Participants must be able to read maps and wear appropriate hiking shoes. Teams must contain a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 people. There are options to register with a team or to join a guided group walk.

A new Family Fun Day at the same location includes a trail around the reservoir. Parking is available on site at Tittesworth Visitor Centre. Income raised by the event supports a WaterAid project in Bangladesh that funds climate resilient water, sanitation and hygiene work supported by the Severn Trent WaterAid committee.

Three route choices are available and route details will be published in advance. Entrant categories include the 10 mile, 20 mile and 30 mile challenge options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
