The race is approved by the Fell Runners Association (FRA) and operates under FRA and UKA rules. Depending on weather conditions, mandatory FRA safety kit may be required for all entrants.

The route passes through sections of private land. Runners are requested to stay on designated footpaths and access land during any transit of the area outside of the race day. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in both the male and female senior categories.

Logistical details for participants include:

  • Senior Race: 10 km distance with 675 m of climbing.
  • Junior Races: Hosted alongside the senior event.

The event base is located at Warslow Village Hall. Parking is available on village roads, and the organizers encourage car sharing or the use of local bus services to minimize impact on residents.
