The MTC Severn Way Ultra
The MTC Severn Way Ultra takes place on 11 July 2026. The event is a point-to-point ultramarathon of 57 miles. The route starts at Travelodge Worcester (WR1 2QS) and finishes at Travelodge Stonehouse (GL10 3SQ). The course follows the River Severn through Grimley, Worcester, Upton-on-Severn, Tewkesbury and Gloucester, then via Epney, Priding and Frampton-on-Severn. Entry, checkpoints and rules
Standard solo entry is £90. All payments are non-refundable; entries may be deferred to the following year for a fee of £15 if requested up to four weeks before the event. There are four checkpoint stations that provide food and drink. Competitors can select Vegan or Gluten Free options at registration; competitors with other dietary needs must supply labelled food bags for checkpoints. Events are cup-free so competitors should bring a reusable cup. This is a point-to-point event and competitors must arrange their own transport to and from the start and finish. Minimum age to enter is 20 years. Competitors must carry mandatory kit including a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, OS Map 150 or downloadable maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, emergency food and a basic first aid kit.
