The MTC Severn Way Ultra is scheduled for 11 July 2026 and is a point-to-point ultramarathon covering 57 miles. The route starts at Travelodge Worcester and finishes at Travelodge Stonehouse, GL10 3SQ. The course follows the River Severn and passes through Grimley, Worcester, Upton-on-Severn, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Epney, Priding and Frampton-on-Severn. Entry, logistics, safety and support

Standard solo entry is listed at £90. Deposits and payments are non-refundable. Entrants may add a personal cancellation insurance policy at booking or may defer a place to the following year for an additional fee when within the permitted window. The event has four checkpoint stations. Vegan and gluten-free food options are provided when selected at registration; competitors who require other food must supply labelled food bags for each checkpoint. All events are cup-free so participants should bring a reusable cup.

Participants are required to maintain an average minimum pace of 4.0 miles per hour; those falling below this requirement will be withdrawn. Navigation is the competitor’s responsibility - GPX files are recommended and the path can be overgrown or unsigned in places. A mandatory kit list is enforced and includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, OS Map 150 (or downloadable maps), compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, emergency food and a basic first aid kit.
