The Worcester Ring Run 2026

The Worcester Ring Run is a 23 mile tour around Worcester and Droitwich held on 29 November 2026. The event uses a clockwise loop that starts in Worcester at Gheluvelt Park next to The Pump House and returns to the park at the finish.

The route follows riverside paths to the Droitwich Canal, continues up to Droitwich, then joins the Worcester & Birmingham Canal back toward Worcester. It passes Diglis, crosses Diglis Bridge, goes through Pitchcroft (Worcester Racecourse) and returns to the park. The majority of the route is traffic free, with only a few short sections on minor roads and lanes with tarmac.

Entry options include solo runners or a two-person relay with the first runner covering 10 miles and handing over at the Droitwich checkpoint for the remaining 13 miles. The event provides race timing, category prizes, special finisher medals and coasters, medical support and a tail runner, fully signed and marshalled routes, and three control points offering water, energy drink and food. Toilets and refreshments are available at the start and finish.

Participants must be aged 17 or over and must complete the course within six hours, after which timing ends and the finish is removed. Places are limited to 100 runners. The organiser does not issue refunds; transfers to another Pulse Events event are allowed once with prior notification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
