Broadway Marathon & Half Marathon 2026
The event is a marathon and a half marathon held in Broadway, Worcestershire, on 15 November 2026. Both races start and finish in Broadway village and follow a route through the northern Cotswolds that uses trails, unpaved tracks and a few minor road sections. The route is marked and marshals are stationed at a few key points.
Course highlights include an early climb to Broadway Tower with views over the Vale of Evesham, sections through Snowshill and Stanway, and a passage past Sudeley Castle. After the marathon splits from the half marathon it continues into Winchcombe, then ascends a final large hill before several miles on the escarpment. The marathon and half marathon rejoin for the run back through gently undulating fields and woods from Stanway to Broadway.
The majority of the course is off road. The event is licensed by the TRA and is held under UK Athletics rules. Minimum age on race day is 18 for the marathon and 17 for the half marathon. Entries open 1 June 2026 and close 1 November 2026. Entry fees listed are £50.00 for the marathon and £39.00 for the half marathon, with a £2.00 discount for UKA club members. The event is organised by Cotswold Trail Events.
