Trail Running calendar near Hornsea 2026-2027

A fell race at Powder House Field near Hebden on 31 August 2026 covering 1.50 miles 3.20 km with about 400 feet 244 meters of climb, featuring a steep ascent, top running and an uphill finish.

A fell race at the Reeth Show near Reeth DL11 6AR, featuring a 2.00 mile, 3.20 km course with about 700 ft of climb to Fremington Edge then back through quarry workings and fields. Age categories run from under 9 to senior.

A 10 km fell race in Eyam on 1 September 2026 with a 3 km junior race for ages 11 to 16. Prizes are supplied by the Barrel Inn and a BBQ and bar are available in the courtyard.

A short but steep fell race at the Kilnsey Show featuring a rope assisted rock chimney descent for seniors, junior crag races on scree, and separate track sprints and mile events. Senior entry is limited and by pre entry only.

Challenge yourself on the Great Longstone Chase, a classic fell race in the Peak District with 4.8 miles of rugged trail and 290 m of climb. Limited to 200 pre entered runners, the event also offers junior races and post race refreshments.
