Monsal Tinsel Trail Christmas 10k, 5k & Junior Run
The event takes place on 5 December 2026 at Bakewell Station in Bakewell, Derbyshire. It is described as the first festive run on the Monsal Trail and offers multiple distance options on a traffic free trail through Peak District scenery.

The course is multi terrain and undulating. Route maps and downloadable GPX files are made available for participants. The event includes a bespoke medal for finishers, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. There is also a prize for the best dressed runner in fancy dress. Event information will be sent to registered entrants before race day.
Race headquarters are at Bakewell Station. There is no general car parking at Bakewell Station other than for disabled motorists; town centre pay and display car parks are located about 500 metres from the station.
