The events take place at Sherwood Pines, Kings Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, NG21 9JL, within 3,300 acres of Nottinghamshire woodland. The organiser is Wild Deer Events. Registration opens 06/01/2025 and closes in December 2025 (duathlon and trail-run pages show slightly different closing dates). Subsidised car parking is available on site and is paid after the event at Forestry England pay machines. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to add to an entry for £12.

Additional details

The bike course is suitable for any off-road bike. The 5 km and 10 km trail runs are canicross friendly (one well-controlled dog per runner). A secure transition area is provided for duathlon competitors; race number and bike number correspond to racking spots, bike number must be attached and helmet visible before entering, and numbers are checked on exit. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. Merrell will run a free shoe demo at the event. All finishers of the 5 km and 10 km trail runs, and duathlon finishers, receive event merchandise and an event medal; finish-line provisions include mince pies, chocolates and a drink.
