On 27 September 2026 the Floors Castle Trail Race offers 10km, 5km and a Junior 3km through the castle grounds and woodlands, with a race village on the main lawn and a finish line in front of Floors Castle.

October 2026

Two fully tracked trail ultras in October 2026: a 104-mile course from Dufton and a 50-mile course from Croft-on-Tees, both finishing in Skinningrove with checkpoints and set cut-offs.

A Backyard Ultra in Cumbria with a 6.706 km loop every hour, runnable trails and Lake District views, with camping and self supported aid on site.

A four leg fell running relay in the Lake District near Patterdale, raced by teams of eight with navigation required and limited entry via pre selection.

Off-road races around Kielder Water on the weekend of 3 to 4 October 2026, including marathon, half, 10K, gravel duathlon and junior races with on-site services.

A 35 mile circular ultra in North Yorkshire that follows the northern Ripon Rowel through trail, woodland and moorland, finishing with a downhill run through Studley Royal deer park.

A 35 miles circular trail run from Studley Roger through Nidderdale AONB, with four staffed checkpoints, a 10 hour time limit, and relay teams of five covering five legs. Finishers receive a medal and a T-shirt.

Coastal trail event in Scarborough offering 5K, 10K, half marathon, 20 mile and marathon routes along the Cinder Track with aid stations and a finishers medal.

Castle C’alf in Hebden Bridge is a scenic 12 km fell race on Sun 4 Oct 2026 with about 490 m of climb across flagged moorland and private estate terrain. Pre entry opens mid September, places are limited and FRA mandatory kit is required.
