Sutton 10k - Sutton on the Forest
The Sutton 10k is a chip timed 10k held on a flat, rural multi-terrain course. The route runs on parkland tracks through Sutton Park and forest, on quiet roads and along sections of a former airfield. The race starts and finishes on the village playing field in Sutton on the Forest (YO61 1DW).
Facilities at the event include free off-road parking close to the start, toilets and refreshments. A tea tent run by the Brownies operates on the playing field. Race numbers and timing chips are not posted in advance and are available for collection on the day from Race HQ.
Entries are managed online via Bookitzone. Entry fees listed are £16 for attached runners and £18 for unattached runners, with a £20 entry on the day if the race limit allows. The event has a maximum field of 400 runners and a minimum entry age of 15. The race is intended to be run under UKA rules and a race licence has been applied for.
