Trail Running calendar near Exmoor National Park 2026-2027

Experience a 30 mile ultra marathon through the heart of the Brecon Beacons featuring the summit of Pen y Fan. This trail event offers technical terrain and scenic reservoir views with a strict 200 runner limit.

Multi distance coastal ultras along the South West Coast Path in November 2026, run as self navigation with GPS tracking. Routes cross Exmoor National Park and include significant elevation and varied coastal terrain.

A family trail run along the Camel Trail on 14 November 2026 with 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 10 mile options; Canicross categories are available and every finisher receives a medal that also grants free entry to the Lobster Hatchery.

Off road 5 km and 10 km races around the Bath Skyline in November, with night and day options, a kids 500 m and a canicross wave. Mixed trails, muddy sections and marked routes with a large two sided medal for finishers.

A winter 2026/27 night trail series in Somerset featuring four events with 5 km and 10 km options. Entries are available per race or as a full series and finishers can pre-order a bespoke wooden medal.

An 8.8 km fell race with 714 m of ascent around Llyn y Fan across remote moorland, requiring navigation and mountain skills. Limited to 50 runners, with entry refunds for car share and cyclists.

A 10 mile multi terrain Fell Race around Castle Drogo with about 535 m of climb. The cupless course has water stations near 3.5 and 8.5 miles, a 550 runner limit and part of the entry fee supports the National Trust.

A family friendly MoRunning event at Ashton Court Park with 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km and half marathon options, chip timing, medals and fundraising in support of Movember.

An evening trail run from Corfe Castle on 20 November 2026 with three distances (15 km, 11 km and 5 km), muddy singletrack, ridge views across Purbeck and one outpost on the long route; headphones are not permitted.

A six hour timed event at Dartington Hall with repeat 5 km laps and a canicross option. Mixed terrain, on-site catering and chip timing; proceeds support a new playground.

An evening trail at Dartington Hall with 10K and 5K single-lap courses, 1K and 2K kids races, and canicross. Green Table will host registration and refreshments while the event raises funds for a new childrens playground.

A timed multi terrain event in Fowey on 21 November 2026 offering 8 km, 16 km, 24 km, 32 km and a 4x8 km team relay. The course runs through Readymoney Cove and along the coast path with roughly equal trail and road.

A seven hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park where participants choose their distance. Medals for 3 km finishers, distance pins for longer efforts, goody bags with vegan options, aid tables and free parking.

An eight hour timed road event near Littleham with 5.3 km out-and-back laps on tarmac, flexible start under the TUGG system, limited to 75 entrants and featuring a mixed-batch medal allocation.

A trail event at Mothecombe on the Erme Estuary offering a Classic 8.5 miles route and a Half Marathon. Both routes include estuary crossings, the course is marshalled and marked, and a head torch is mandatory.

A short but steep fell race near Llanfoist and Abergavenny covering 5.7 km with 485 m of ascent. The course is mostly unmarked, needs basic navigation and can be affected by poor weather.

An 8 hour timed road event on Sunday 29 November 2026 near Exmouth with **5.3k** laps on tarmac along a former railway. Entrants aged 18 and over can complete up to 14 laps and receive a medal from a mixed selection.

The final race of the 2026 RTT Series takes place in Afan Forest with separate 5 km and 10 km routes from Bryn Bettws Lodge. The event features chip timing, finisher medals, marked and marshalled routes and water stations.
