Weymouth Bay 10K Charity Fun Run

MCC Promotions organises the Weymouth Bay 10 km Charity Fun Run at the Harvester Spyglass Inn, Bowleaze Coveway, Weymouth, Dorset DT3 6PN. The event is affiliated with England Athletics and supports the charity Sport In Mind. Course records are listed as male 32:40 (2025) and female 38:15 (2023).

The course is an out and back route that starts at Bowleaze Green, includes two laps and a section toward Pleasure Pier with a return past Overcombe Corner. It is an accurately measured course with a measurers certificate. The surface is road and is reported to be 88% pancake flat. Water is available at various points and first aid cover is provided.

Facilities include changing rooms, toilets and baggage storage. The event notes convenient access near British Rail Weymouth and a regular bus service from Weymouth, and ample parking is available. There is on day registration and race results are published by the organiser. Awards include a bespoke medal, spot prizes, trophies for the first three finishers and a team prize. A 12-hour solo trail challenge on a private Dorset farm on 18 July 2026, with undulating off-road terrain, lap-based timing, medal and goodies for finishers, and limited entries.
