The Brave 5km & 10km - Exmouth
The Brave is a coastal running event organised by LMEvents that takes place in Exmouth on 21 March 2027. The race starts and finishes at Sideshore, which also serves as race headquarters, and follows routes that use seafront paths, cliff paths, sandy beach, the marina, and nearby coastal trails.
The event offers two distance options:
- 5 km: Coastal route with beach sections and seafront running.
- 10 km: Longer route with additional cliff and coastal trail sections.
Both races use mixed terrain. Participants can choose a bespoke wooden finisher medal or a reduced-price no medal entry option. Trophies are awarded to male and female runners for overall first, second and third places, and additional age category prizes are offered where applicable.
The event partners with the Sideshore Project, a community programme focused on sea swimming and water safety education, environmental awareness, and creative arts. A portion of every entry is donated to the Sideshore Project. A limited number of charity places are also available for those who pledge to raise a minimum of £100 for the project.
