Exeter Trail Races

The Exeter Trail Races take place at Escot Park, Ottery St Mary, Devon on 28 March 2026. The event uses off-road trails around the grounds of Escot Park with several short climbs and usually some muddy sections along the routes. Routes are fully marked and marshalled.

Two main course options are offered:

  • 10K single lap, approximately 10.5K with about 170 m elevation
  • Half marathon two laps, approximately 21.1K with about 340 m elevation

Canicross categories are available for both distances. Race entry includes professional RFID chip timing, medals for finishers, prizes for category podiums, water and feed stations, event facilities and toilets, fully trained medics, event caterers and public liability insurance. Event photography is provided with options for higher resolution downloads for an additional charge. Free parking is available at the venue.

Entry prices range from £25 to £32 depending on the event category. The organiser is Sportiva Events. The course is entirely off-road and involves varied trail surfaces and elevation; runners should expect uneven footing and typical trail conditions.
