Event Details

The Exeter Trail Races take place in Escot Park, Devon. The event is in its third year. The course is completely off-road, on trails within the park grounds.

Course Information

The races consist of two main distances, which are also available as canicross (running with a dog) categories.

  • 10K (approx. 10.5K): One lap of the course with an elevation of approximately 170m.
  • Half Marathon: Two laps of the 10K course, with an elevation of approximately 340m.

The off-road route includes climbs and often has muddy sections. All finishers receive a medal, and there is an option to donate the medal value to charity instead. The event features chip timing, professional photography, and on-site catering. Free parking is available.

Awards and Categories

There are prizes for overall winners and age category winners. The event has a policy where overall top-three finishers are excluded from category results. Trail runs nearby

Tough paired trail run across Dartmoor from the East Dart Inn in Postbridge, covering about 21 km with rugged climbs and sweeping moorland views. The third race in the Winter Pairs series, it is limited to 35 pairs and is pre entry only.

Cross Dartmoor from east to west on this 50km or 16 mile traverse featuring self navigation and live GPS tracking. Runners can participate solo or in teams and enjoy fully supported feed stations and a finish line medal.

Tackle the hills and mud of Axminster in the Minster Challenge. Choose from a challenging 12 km, a 5 km route, or a family-friendly 3 km fun run. All finishers earn a medal, and the event features a supportive trail running atmosphere.
