Steaming to the Coast is a trail running event scheduled for 11/04/2026 at West Somerset Railway – Minehead Station, Minehead, Somerset, TA24 5BG. Entrants register and travel by steam train from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard on the heritage West Somerset line. A second train will operate in 2026. The event finishes outside Minehead Station.

Marathon entrants disembark at Bishops Lydeard to run back to Minehead. The marathon route follows the main ridgeline of the Quantock Hills, descends to Williton, and then follows sections of the Steam Coast Trail and the England Coast Path. The 11 mile and 11 km entrants ride the train back to their start points at either Williton or Washford, then run to Minehead, which is described as the gateway to Exmoor National Park.
