Steaming to the Coast is a unique trail running event held along the scenic West Somerset Railway in Minehead, Somerset. Utilizing the UK's longest standard gauge steam railway, participants ride a steam train from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard before embarking on their runs. The event offers three distances: 11 km, 11 miles, and a full marathon.

Marathon runners start at Bishops Lydeard and run back to Minehead, passing through the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and sections of the Steam Coast Trail and England Coast Path. Shorter distance runners run from Williton or Washford to Minehead after returning by train. The event combines heritage railway travel with stunning coastal and countryside trail running.
