Steaming to the Coast is a trail running event on 11 April 2026 organised by Channel Events. The event uses the West Somerset Railway heritage line and the route links Minehead and nearby villages. A second steam train will operate in 2026.

Entrants choose from these distances:
- 11 km
- 11 miles
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
Entrants register at Minehead and travel by steam train to Bishops Lydeard. Marathon runners start their 26.2 mile trail run from Bishops Lydeard back to Minehead. The 11 mile and 11 km runners travel by train to their start points at Williton or Washford and then run back to Minehead, finishing outside Minehead Station.
The marathon route includes the main ridgeline of the Quantock Hills, then descends to Williton and follows sections of the Steam Coast Trail and the England Coast Path.
