Somerset not Levels 50

Somerset not Levels is a 50 mile Long Distance Walkers Association challenge event scheduled for 10-11 October 2026. The route is organised as two loops, each starting and finishing at Crowcombe Village Hall. One loop goes towards the Brendon Hills and the other visits the Quantock Hills national landscape, showing parts of West Somerset in autumn.

The event was introduced for 2026 as a 50 mile qualifier for the 2027 LDWA Jurassic Hundred and replaces the Potter round the Otter course used in previous years. A marshals event is scheduled for 26-27 September 2026.

Entry was handled via SiEntries from 1 April 2026 for LDWA members. Eligibility required completion of a 30 mile one-day event within the previous 12 months. The listing for this iteration indicates the event was full and the waiting list was also full.

Participants used Crowcombe Village Hall as the start and finish location for both loops. The organiser is the Cornwall & Devon local group of the Long Distance Walkers Association. Event rules specific to this walk were made available to entrants prior to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
