Total Coastal offers two challenging routes along the South West Coast Path: a 50 km Ultra starting Kingswear and finishing Ness at Shaldon, and a 13.1-mile Half Marathon from Preston Green near Paignton to Shaldon. The courses are multi-terrain, about 75% trails on the coast path, with most tarmac in the flatter middle section between Goodrington Beach and Torquay Harbour. The Ultra features 7,000 ft of ascent and four aid stations; the Half has two aid stations and an eight-hour cut-off. The route is signed with Acorn markers and navigation is simplified after the first mile by keeping the sea on the right. Cupless event.
