Larmer Tree Marathon

Tollard Royal, United Kingdom • 7 Mar 2027

Larmer Tree Marathon, 20 Miler, Half Marathon & 10km

The event is based at the Larmer Tree Gardens on the Rushmore Estate with start and finish in the Larmer Tree buildings. The gardens include ornate buildings and free roaming peacocks. Runners register in the Larmer Tree buildings and may explore the grounds after the event.

Routes run through the Rushmore Estate within the Cranborne Chase National Landscape. The courses use chalk valleys, woodlands that were once private hunting forests, tree lined avenues, elevated ridges, open grassland and estate roads. All courses are waymarked and marshalled; route maps and GPX files are published.

Races use wave starts of about 100 runners. The event is not open to pure walkers. Facilities include toilets, coffee and food vans and a bag drop; there are no changing rooms.

Prize categories are age and gender based and the number of awards depends on finishers. There is no on the day prize giving because of the multi wave format. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
