A 50-mile point-to-point trail from Kendal to Preston on 15 May 2027 with seven checkpoints, mandatory kit, participant tracking and a 13 hour cut-off. Pre-registration only, entry fee £95 and registration closes 9 May.

Three off-road distances around Derwent Reservoir on 16 May 2027, featuring firm trails and mixed terrain. The 5 km and 5 mile routes allow one controlled dog per runner while the 10 mile completes a full reservoir lap on closed roads.

A circa 13.2 mile trail half marathon around Black Hambleton and Silton Woods south of Osmotherley, featuring forest tracks, ancient trods, one staffed checkpoint and a four hour time limit.

A canal-side running event in Saltaire offering 5K, 10K and half marathon distances on scenic Yorkshire routes, with finishers receiving a jumble medal, hot food and a drink.

The Calderdale Way Relay is a six leg off road team race on 16 May 2027, starting at Clay House in West Vale and finishing at Spring Hall. Entries open online in December 2026 and are limited to 100 teams on a first come first served basis.

A 32 miles point to point trail ultra around East Lancashire visiting the four Panopticons art installations across South Pennines trails. The route covers about 52 km with 1,430 m of climb and requires navigation and mandatory kit.

A long May fell race of about 37 miles and 10,000 feet of ascent, visiting Helvellyn, Scafell Pike and Coniston before returning to Great Langdale. The race began in 1988 after a 1987 test year.

Trail races around Hulne Park near Alnwick Castle with 5k, 10k, half marathon and junior 2k options, chip timing and finisher medals. Entries are limited and the event is hosted by Northumberland Estate.

A single stage 160 mile trail ultramarathon along the Cleveland Way and Tabular Hills with over 7000 m ascent and a 50 hour limit. Entries are capped at 60, all runners must have motorised support and trackers are included.

A backyard ultra at Hunters Greave where runners repeat a 4.167 mile loop every hour and must finish each loop within the hour to continue. Camping, aid stations and marshals support the event; the last runner standing is the champion.

A backyard ultra on 29 May 2027 in Hebden Bridge where runners complete laps of 4.167 miles each hour until one remains. The event includes a checkpoint with hot drinks, food, portaloos and a gazebo area.

A waymarked 100km coastal point to point ultra from the Bamburgh area to Tynemouth Priory with six feed stations, medical cover and full tracking; runners must carry mandatory kit and complete within a 24 hour cut off.

An evening fell race in Hebden Bridge on 1 June 2027 covering 10.4 km with 350 m of climb on a flagged course. Entry on the day is available for £5 and the race holds an FRA permit with UK Athletics insurance.

A 38 km mountain skyrace with 2800 m ascent across technical single track trails in the Lake District, starting from Lanty Slees Stickle Barn. No vetting is required and the maximum allowed time is 12 hours.
