Trail Running calendar near Crowden 2026-2027

A multi-day 200 mile ultramarathon across the trails of Greater Manchester that follows the GM Ringway and connects local communities. It forms part of the Ultra Great Britain Race Series and includes live online GPS tracking.

Join the Padfield Plum Fair Scamper on Sun 22 Nov 2026 for an 8.8 km fell race around Padfield in the Peak District, featuring 320 m of climb and stunning views. Open to runners aged 16+, with pre and on the day entries and limited parking.

A small-field half marathon on 22 November 2026 at Thorpe Park Holiday Park, four laps on a flat multi-terrain course. Limited to 40 places, finishers receive a Vigilantes medal and a goody bag.

A festive running event at Sherwood Pines on Sunday 22 November featuring 10 km, 5 km and a junior run on undulating multi terrain. The event supports Shelter and includes a bespoke medal, free photos and prizes.

A chip-timed charity run at Heaton Park on 22 November 2026 offering 1.5k, 5k, 10k and half marathon options, supporting Movember with medals, headbands, on-course marshals and instant results.

Trail races of 10k, 21k and 42k through Delamere Forest with waymarked routes, marshals and GPX navigation. An event village provides food, drinks and finish-line goodies, and discounted event t-shirts are available through RT Kit.

The Kings Highway 15km Trail Race will take place in Altham on Sunday 22 November 2026. You can run 15 kilometers.

The Black Night Scar fell race lights up the South West Pennines on 24 Nov 2026 from Todmorden, a punchy 5.8 km course with 315 m of climb under headtorches. Entries available pre entry or on the day with teams of three welcome.

Experience an evening off road run through the tracks and trails of the Wyre Forest. This 10 km multi lap course takes runners through the dark with mandatory torches and a medal for every finisher.

Tackle Kirkby Moor's classic BM fell race on Sat 28 Nov 2026, a 10.5 km route with 490 m of climb across stunning Lake District terrain. Entry on the day from Kirkby Community Centre, with team entries and season trophies at stake.

Tackle the Baslow Bolt, a scenic yet testing 13 km Peak District fell race with 400 m of climb. On 28 Nov 2026 at St Anne's Church, this community fundraiser finishes with cake and refreshments.

A timed multi-lap run along the River Mersey at Chorlton Water Park featuring 5.3 km laps, a 7 hour limit, a bespoke finisher's medal and a handmade knitted bee, with £2 from each entry donated to Ray's of Sunshine Children's Charity.

A half marathon at Loggerheads Country Park run as three 7 km loops. Solo and three-person relay options are offered and the event has a 3.5 hour cut off.

Dalby Forest Wild Winter Trail Runs on 29 November 2026 features a Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km through Dalby Forest on the edge of the North York Moors. Chip timing is provided and finishers receive a medal and refreshments.

Experience a classic 8.4 km Peak District fell race in Birch Vale with 335 meters of climbing. Join a limited field of 125 runners for this traditional Derbyshire event starting and finishing near the Sycamore Inn.

A 10 km trail loop through Marton Mere and past Blackpool Zoo with on-course snacks and a bespoke finisher medal. Open to runners aged over 18 with affiliated and unattached entry fees.

A team relay at Lee Mill Quarry in Rossendale where teams of four each run a flagged 10.7 km course, with mandatory safety kit and a 120 team limit plus wait list.

A time trial from Little Stretton to the Stiperstones with on the day entry and a finish to start bus. Navigational skills are required and entry fees are £8 per person with a reduced junior rate.

Dash in the Dark Race 2 is a 6.4 km fell run with 229 m ascent at Llandegla Forest. A safety briefing is provided and a headtorch with at least two hours' lighting is compulsory.

Carsington Water stages a Half Marathon and 10k on 5 December 2026, run on marked trail paths around the reservoir with marshals and kilometre markers. Entries include a themed medal, water and post race goodies.
