The Ultra Loop - Lyme Park

The Ultra Loop is an 8-hour loop running event held at Lyme Park, Disley, Stockport SK12 2NR. Participants run repeated 5km loops on a mixed-terrain course that combines roads and trails. There is no upper distance limit; each runner receives a finishing time and a medal, and the results show number of laps completed, total distance and elapsed time.

The event uses a single start/finish line that records lap times each time a runner passes. Any laps not completed before the event cut-off are not included in final results. The route is not on a closed course, so runners should expect other park users such as walkers and dog walkers. The final route and GPX file are to be confirmed.

Aid and facilities are centred at the start/finish area. An aid station provides water, fruit, sweet and savoury snacks, energy bars and electrolytes supplied by the event sponsor. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bottle; there will be water to refill but no cups. A bag drop is available throughout the day and portaloos are provided.

Entry details include an entry fee of £36 and the event date of June 27th 2027. After entering, participants receive a confirmation email and an event guide by email; race bibs are collected at registration on the morning of the event. Participants under 12 are not permitted; those aged 12 to 15 must have a parent or guardian contact the organiser and attend the event.
