The Ultra Loop - Lyme Park

The Ultra Loop is an 8 hour looped running event held at Lyme Park in Disley, UK. Participants run as many 5 km loops of the course as they can within the 8 hour time limit. The loop uses mixed terrain, combining roads and trails, and the final route is to be confirmed.

Entry details include an entry fee of £36 and the event date of June 27th 2027. Every participant who records laps receives a finishing time and a medal. Results show the number of laps completed, total distance and elapsed time; there is a results leaderboard and course records.

Runners receive a confirmation email and an event guide before the day. Race bibs are collected at registration on the morning of the event. Participants aged 12 to 15 must have a parent or guardian contact the organiser and attend the event; under 12s are not permitted.

The route is not on a closed course so walkers and dog walkers may be present. There is a strict 8 hour cut off; any laps not finished before the cut off are not included in results.

The start and finish area doubles as the singular aid station and spectator zone. The aid station offers water, fruit, sweet and savoury snacks, energy bars and electrolytes from the event sponsor VOOM. A bag drop is available throughout the day, portaloos are provided, and participants are asked to bring their own bottles as cups are not supplied.
