Event overview

The Gnosall 10K(ish) takes place on 13 June 2026 at the Gnosall Family Sports Club in Gnosall, Stafford (ST20 0JF). The main race is a chip-timed, UKA-licensed, multi-terrain event with an entry limit of 400 runners. The event is organised by the Gnosall Globetrotters running club and includes a separate chip-timed Family Fun Run.

Course and race services

The course is an undulating, multi-terrain route that uses canal towpaths, farm tracks, field paths, a disused railway line, woodland (Broadhill) and the boardwalk through The Acres. The route can be uneven and muddy in places. The course is fully marshalled at 32 points and has first aid provision in line with UKA requirements. There are two drinks stations on the route (around mile 2 and mile 4) and biodegradable cups are used at water stations.

Facilities and rules

All finishers receive a technical t-shirt and post-race goodies. Trophies are awarded to the first three men and women; the Sam Myatt Trophy is awarded to the fastest youngster aged 20 or younger. Spot prizes are also given. Parking at the club is limited; additional parking is provided at nearby locations with a short walk to the start. Bag drop is available but unmanned.
