Gnosall 10K

The Gnosall 10K is a community road and trail event organised by the Gnosall Globetrotters and based at the Gnosall Family Sports Club in Staffordshire (ST20 0JF). The advertised 10K ish course measures 11.2 km and runs over mixed surfaces including canal towpath, a disused railway line, farm lanes, field paths, woodland at Broadhill and a boardwalk through The Acres.

The event holds a UKA licence and is chip timed by JC Race Solutions. The course is fully marshalled with 32 marshal points and first aid provision in line with UKA requirements. There are two on-course drink stations located at mile 2 and mile 4 and biodegradable cups are used at water stations. The organisers encourage measures to reduce single use plastic and ask runners to recycle bottles at the finish.

All finishers receive a technical race t-shirt and finish-line goodies. Trophies are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and the Sam Myatt trophy is awarded to the fastest youngster aged 20 or younger. Spot prizes are also handed out. Parking at the Sports Club is limited so local car parks are used and a short walk to the venue is expected. A simple, unmanned bag drop is available at registration. Spectator facilities include refreshments, a play area and a bouncy castle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
