Gnosall 10K

Gnosall 10K and Family Fun Run : Gnosall Family Sports Club, 13 June 2026

The event comprises a multi-terrain main race and a chip-timed family fun run, both based at the Gnosall Family Sports Club in Stafford. The main race covers an undulating 11.2K route that uses canal towpath, farmland, woodland (Broadhill), a disused railway line and a boardwalk through The Acres. The course is UKA licensed and will be chip-timed by JC Race Solutions. The field is limited to 400 runners and the route is fully marshalled with 32 marshal points. Two drinks stations are located on course, and first aid provision meets UKA requirements.

All main-race finishers receive a technical t-shirt and post-race goodies. Trophies are awarded to the first three male and female finishers; a Sam Myatt Trophy will be presented to the fastest youngster aged 20 or younger. Spot prizes are also distributed. Spectators can use refreshments, a play area and a bouncy castle at the club, and local stallholders will be present in the start/finish arena. Organisers have introduced biodegradable cups at water stations and encourage recycling of bottles at the finish to reduce plastic waste.

The chip-timed Family Fun Run is held on the race field and offers two laps (1 km) or a single shorter lap (0.5 km). All fun-run finishers receive a medal and goodies and may receive an official time printout. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
