Gnosall 10K

Gnosall 10K and Family Fun Run, 12 June 2027

The Gnosall Globetrotters Running Club stages the Gnosall 10K and Family Fun Run at the Gnosall Family Sports Club in Gnosall, Stafford on 12 June 2027. The event comprises a chip timed multi terrain race and a separate chip timed fun run for children and families.

Distances

• 11.2 km multi terrain race incorporating canal towpath, farmland, woodland at Broadhill, a disused railway line and the boardwalk through The Acres.
• 1 km family run (two laps) with an option of 0.5 km (one lap) for the youngest participants.

The 11.2 km course is undulating and fully marshalled with 32 marshal points. The race holds an England Athletics licence and is chip timed by JC Race Timing. All finishers receive a technical t shirt and finishers' goodies; trophies are awarded to the first three men and women and the Sam Myatt Trophy is presented to the fastest youngster aged 20 or younger. Spot prizes are also given.

Practical notes: the route includes steps and a kissing gate and can be very muddy, so it is not suitable for pushchairs or prams. Dogs are not permitted. There are two drinks stations on route and first aid is provided in line with UKA requirements. There is no parking at the club; nearby parking is available at the Health Centre, Memorial Hall and Grosvenor Centre with about a 10 minute walk to the venue.

The Family Fun Run is open to all ages, costs £3.50 per entry and awards medals and small goodies to finishers. The event uses biodegradable cups at water stations and encourages bringing personal water to reduce single use plastic. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
