Gnosall 10K (ish) and Family Fun Run

The event comprises a multi-terrain main race of approximately 11.2 km and a chip timed family fun run held at the Gnosall Family Sports Club in Gnosall, Stafford. The main course runs through local countryside and incorporates the Shropshire Union Canal towpath, a disused railway line, farm lanes, field paths, the woodland area of Broadhill and the boardwalk through The Acres. The route is undulating and can be uneven or muddy in places.

The race holds a UKA licence and uses professional chip timing. The field for the main race is limited to 400 runners and the course is fully marshalled with 32 marshal points. There are two drinks stations on course and biodegradable cups are used at water stops; runners are asked to recycle bottles at the finish and may bring their own fluids.

All finishers in the main race receive a technical t-shirt and goodies. Trophies are awarded to the first three men and first three women and the Sam Myatt Trophy is presented to the fastest youngster aged 20 or younger. Spot prizes are also distributed at the finish.

The family fun run is chip timed and offers: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
