Gnosall 10K

Gnosall 10K(ish) and Family Fun Run : Gnosall Family Sports Club, 13 June 2026

The event comprises a multi terrain 11.2 km race labelled as a 10K(ish) and a chip timed Family Fun Run held at the Gnosall Family Sports Club. The course route uses local features including the Shropshire Union Canal towpath, farmland, Broadhill woodland, a disused railway line and a boardwalk through The Acres. The 11.2 km course is undulating and may include uneven or muddy sections.

All finishers of the main race receive a technical t-shirt and post‑race goodies. Trophies are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and the Sam Myatt Trophy is presented to the fastest competitor aged 20 or younger. Spot prizes are also distributed. The main race holds a UKA licence and is chip timed by JC Race Solutions; results and official printouts are available from the timing provider. The course is fully marshalled with 32 marshal points and first aid provision meets UKA requirements.

On‑course support includes two drinks stations and biodegradable cups at water stations; runners are encouraged to recycle bottles at the finish. The event uses wave starts to reduce congestion and the total runner places are subject to a 400 runner limit. Spectators can access refreshments, a play area, a bouncy castle and local stallholders around the start and finish.
