Trail Running calendar near Cressage 2026-2027

A weekend multi stage trail event in Sheffield with 11 timed stages covering 20 km of scenic trails. Individuals and pairs can enter, each stage is timed separately and support is provided along the route.

A one day multi distance trail running event at Salcey Forest offering 10K, half marathon, marathon and 50 km, on mainly hard packed forest trails. The event is cupless and all finishers receive a medal and a drink.

Looped races at Chasewater Country Park offer 5K laps for options from 5K up to a full marathon, a relatively flat mixed-surface course with park facilities and aid stations, and a finisher medal and occasional snack.

A challenging fell race over the Kinder plateau, covering 15.5 miles and 2950 feet of ascent. Entry is on the day from the Scout Hut in Hayfield. Full FRA kit is mandatory for this long-distance event.

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

Take on the Hope Wakes Fell Race on 1 July 2026: a scenic 9.5 km Peak District route with 458 m of climb, starting and finishing at Hope Sportsfield. On the day entry is £8 and all profits go to local charities.

Take on the Winster Hill Race in the heart of the Peak District with a 4 mile course and 177 m of climb that rewards effort with stunning views. Open to runners aged 14 and up with affordable pre entry and on the day entry available.

A trail running weekend in the Peak District, based near Edale. The main event is a 23-mile Skyline route with major ascent, followed by an optional 10km run. Guidance on technique and pacing is provided throughout.

Point to point half marathon style race along canal towpaths from Wolverhampton to Brindley Place in Birmingham. The course includes a 360 metre tunnel, floating drink stations every 3 miles and chip timing.

Weekend trail event based at Bakewell in the Southern Peak District on 4-5 July 2026. Distances run from 10 miles to 100 km with camping, covered rest stops, medical support, GPS-tracked routes, and finisher medal and T shirt.

A 30 mile ultra marathon based in Abergavenny with about 5,446 ft of elevation, mostly on trail and including a climb over the Sugar Loaf. The route has three fully stocked checkpoints and downloadable maps on plotaroute.com.

A multi-distance running event on 4 July 2026 around the Ironbridge valley, starting and finishing at The Unicorn Inn. Options include 8 miles, 16 miles and a full marathon with finisher bling and on-site parking.

A senior fell race on 4 July 2026 in Warslow, Peak District: 10 km with 675 m ascent, limited to 150 entries, FRA rules apply and a 1 hour 55 minute maximum finish time may be enforced.
