Event Overview

The DirtRun Summer Sizzler Race 4 takes place at the Wyre Forest, starting from the Callow Hill Visitor Centre near Kidderminster. This event is the fourth race in a series of mid-week summer runs. The course consists of a single lap through the tracks and trails of the Wyre Forest.

The event is open to participants who are at least 14 years old on the day of the race. Registration is available in advance or on the night if the field limit has not been reached. The total participation limit is set at 150 runners. Canicross is permitted, allowing participants to run with their dogs.

Participant Information

This is organized as a no-frills event, meaning no medals or prizes are awarded on the night of the race. Trophies are reserved for those registered for the complete series. Water stations providing cups of water are located at the halfway point of the 10 km course.

Specific categories for participants include Senior Male and Female (14-39 years), Vet40+ Male and Female (40-49 years), and Vet50+ Male and Female (50+ years). On-site facilities include toilets at the visitor centre, though the cafe remains closed during the event. Parking charges apply for all participants using the forest car park. Enjoy a festive multi terrain run around the picturesque Chasewater Reservoir with distances ranging from a Junior Run to 20 km. This undulating course features professional timing, bespoke medals, and a friendly atmosphere.

A six hour event at Kingsbury Water Park where participants complete as many 3.3 mile laps as they can. The mostly flat route passes five ponds and a river over grass, gravel and short asphalt sections.
