Logistics, navigation and kit

Organisers provide GPX files and an emergency route map; participants are expected to navigate and are tracked throughout. On-course support includes checkpoints, water stations, mid-way food for the 50-mile race, finish food for all distances, chip timing, trackers, back runners and a mobile medical unit. A physio and taping service will be available.

Cut-off arrangements include a 24-hour limit for the 50-mile event and a 12-hour cut-off noted for a 26-mile point; organisers may impose additional cut-offs for safety in severe weather. Mandatory kit is enforced and checked at registration; required items include a waterproof jacket and trousers, race vest/pack, map or GPX download, capacity for at least 2 litres of fluid, fully charged phone and power bank, first aid items, head torch (for ultra), and a reusable cup.
