Navigation, support and requirements

All distances require self-navigation; a GPX file and map will be provided and participants are tracked during the event. The event includes checkpoints, water stations, chip timing, trackers, drop-bag zones for the 50-mile race, and on-course medical cover. Hot food is provided for ultra entrants; cold food is provided for all distances. Physio support and taping are available.

A mandatory kit list is enforced and a full kit check will take place at registration, with spontaneous checks on course. Mandatory items include waterproof jacket and trousers, race vest/pack, map or GPX file, first aid kit, reusable cup, and a head torch for ultra distances. Organisers state that no participant will be allowed to start without the required kit. There is a 24-hour cut-off applied to the 50-mile event and course cut-offs will be enforced for safety.
