Logistics, support and requirements

The event includes chip timing, trackers, full checkpoints, water stations, cold food for all finishers and hot food for ultra runners. Medical cover, a mobile medical unit, physio support and back runners are provided. A drop bag zone is available at the start and midpoint for the 50-mile race only. Organisers may make safety calls or impose additional cut-offs in severe weather.

Mandatory kit is enforced and will be checked at registration. Required items include waterproof jacket and trousers, race vest/pack, map or downloaded GPX, capacity to carry up to 2 litres of fluid (ultra), fully charged mobile phone and power bank, first aid items, foil blanket, appropriate trail footwear, head torch and whistle for ultra distances, and a reusable cup.
