The Beast of the Beacons is a trail running event on Saturday 18 April 2026 centred at Gilestone Farm, Talybont on Usk, Llangynidr, Powys (LD37JE). The event offers three distances:

  • 10 miles (about 16 km)
  • 20 miles (about 32.5 km)
  • 40 miles (about 65 km)

The 40 mile route is a reversed second lap of the 20 mile route. The course is marked and supported by marshals. Checkpoints are described as well stocked with food and drinks, and GPX route files are provided for navigation.

Entry fees are listed as £48 for the 10 mile, £60 for the 20 mile, and £80 for the 40 mile.
