Great Malvern, United Kingdom • 18 Apr 2026

Event Overview

The Malvern Hills 18 Miler is a guided trail run that takes place on Saturday, 18 April 2026. Participants meet at the North Quarry Car Park in Great Malvern, Worcestershire. The route covers a distance of 18 miles across the Malvern Hills and surrounding trails.

The Route

The run starts and finishes in North Malvern. The group heads up to Worchestershire Hill and onto the Malverns ridge, visiting all the summits along the ridge. This part of the route offers panoramic views. The total elevation gain is over 1300 metres (4400 feet). After running from north to south along the ridge, the return journey uses lesser-known trails on the hillsides and in the woodlands at the base of the hills.

The Experience

This is a guided, social run, not a race. The group runs together at a social pace, with stops for views and photos. Participants should be able to comfortably run an average pace of 10 minutes per mile (6 minutes per kilometre) for prolonged periods on the trail. A full kit list will be provided to participants. At the end of the run, participants may receive a complimentary non-alcoholic beer from Athletic Brewing Company, subject to availability.

Practical Information

The event costs £35 per person. A car park is available at the meeting point. The nearest train station is a short run or taxi ride away. Further detailed information and instructions are sent to participants a few days before the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
