Event details

This is a guided trail run of 18 miles on the Malvern Hills, starting and finishing at North Quarry Car Park in Great Malvern, Worcestershire. The route includes the Malverns ridge and visits the summits along the ridge, with over 1300 m (4400 ft) of total elevation. The event is led by a qualified guide and coach. The listed cost is £35 per person.

Route, pace and logistics

The group will run north to south along the ridge and then return via lesser-known trails on the hillsides and in nearby woodlands, providing a different perspective on the area. The run is not a race; participants should be able to sustain an average pace of about 10 min/mile (6 min/km) on trail for prolonged periods and have a suitable level of fitness. A full kit list will be provided before the run. North Malvern has parking and a train station; the meeting location has on-site parking and is a short run or taxi from the station. If the run is cancelled by the organiser due to COVID-19, participants will be offered a refund or transfer. Participants may receive an alcohol-free beer at the end of the run, subject to availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
