Malvern Hills Guided Trail Run

The Malvern Hills 18 miler is a guided trail running event that explores the ridge and surrounding countryside of Worcestershire. The route begins in North Malvern and proceeds directly to the Malverns ridge via Worcestershire Hill. Participants visit all the summits along the ridge, gaining over 1300m (4400ft) of total elevation throughout the journey.

This event is a group-led run rather than a competitive race. The group maintains a social pace, allowing time for photographs and observation of the scenery. After completing the ridge from north to south, the return journey utilizes lesser-known trails along the hillsides and through woodlands at the base of the hills, providing a different view of the landscape.

Participants should have a level of fitness that allows them to maintain an average pace of 10 min/miles (6 min/km) on trails for an extended duration.

A specific kit list is provided to participants prior to the event, and finishers may receive an alcohol-free beverage at the conclusion of the run.
