Cymoedd Sir Fynwy, staged by South Wales LDWA, is held at The Girl Guide Hall, Fairfield Car Park, Abergavenny (NP7 5TR). The event offers three distances—50 miles, 30 miles and a new 20-mile route—making it LDWA's toughest mountain challenge. The route winds through the Black Mountains and the World Heritage Site of the Forgotten Landscape above Blaenavon, with epic climbs up Deri, Loxidge Tump and Skirrid via Cwmyoy, Llanthony and Pandy. After crossing into Blaenavon's landscape and Coity Mountain, finish along the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal.
