Rocky at 50 Run - Wales is scheduled for 30 May 2026 at Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare (CF44 7PS). The event marks the 50th anniversary of the Rocky film and is organised by Saturn Too Limited, a franchise partner of Saturn Running. It is run as a 7 hour Time Challenge that allows participants to choose how far they run, with a minimum official finish distance of 3 km.

A full lap is listed as 7 km (4.37 miles) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. There are 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap. Three laps equal a half marathon, six laps equal a marathon, and seven or more laps qualify as an ultra. Age minimums vary by distance.
Medals are awarded to all finishers who complete at least 3 km. Distance pins are available for half-marathon and longer finishes, including Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50 km and Ultra pins. There is an aid and drinks table at the start/finish of each lap with snacks and vegan options; ice cream is provided for finishers.
Venue and practical information
The course uses well maintained footpaths in the country park and offers views of the surrounding countryside. Toilets and a cafe are available; there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Free parking is provided. A bag drop is available but is not a secure storage area. Bone-conducting headphones only are permitted. Reduced entry pricing of £22 is available only to members; members are guaranteed entry and receive a mini-pin on event attendance. Ticket prices range from £18 to £35.
