Stoodley Pike Fell Race

Stoodley Pike Fell Race takes place on Tuesday 7 July 2026 around the landmark of Stoodley Pike near Todmorden. It is a long established local fell race that began in the 1970s and directs its profits to deserving local causes.

The race is categorised as a BS course and covers 5 km with 213 m of ascent. Race headquarters is The Top Brink Inn, Lumbutts, Todmorden, OL14 6JB. A course map is provided by the organisers.

Entry is available on the night for £5.00 and the minimum age is 14. The event forms part of Todmorden Harriers' Summer Series alongside three other races; entering all four places a competitor into a draw for a chance to win a prize. A long archive of past results and photos is maintained.

Organisers set specific kit requirements in line with FRA guidance; required items may include a full waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, map, compass and whistle. There may be kit checks at the start and finish and failing to carry the kit specified by the Race Organiser can lead to disqualification. Parking is normally in a field behind the pub if the ground is firm and the grass is cut; otherwise parking may be on nearby roads and car sharing is encouraged.
