Stoodley Pike Fell Race

Stoodley Pike Fell Race is a short fall running event organised by Todmorden Harriers that runs to and from the Stoodley Pike landmark. The course is classified as a BS race and covers 5 km with approximately 213 m of ascent. The race is scheduled for Tuesday 7 July 2026 and all profits benefit local causes.

Race headquarters are at The Top Brink Inn in Lumbutts, Todmorden, OL14 6JB. Entry is available on the night for £5.00 and the minimum age for competitors is 14. The event forms part of Todmorden Harriers’ Summer Series alongside other local fell races; entering all four events places an entrant in a draw for a prize.

Competitors must meet the kit requirements set by the race organiser and follow FRA safety guidance; this may include waterproof body cover, hat, gloves, map, compass and whistle. Organisers may carry out kit checks and failure to carry required items can result in disqualification. The organiser notes that the specified kit may not be sufficient for all conditions and advises participants to assess conditions and add extra kit if needed.

Parking may be in a field behind the pub when the ground is firm; if conditions are wet parking will be on nearby roads. Results and photo archives from previous years are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
