Chirk Castle Spring Relay

The Chirk Castle Spring Relay is an athletic competition organized by Oswestry Olympians. The event follows a relay format where teams of three runners cover a total distance of 6 miles. The race takes place on the grounds of Chirk Castle, with the starting line located on the access road near the National Trust car park.

Each participant runs a single lap on a course measuring approximately 2 miles. The event accommodates various team compositions, including all-male teams, all-female teams, and mixed teams consisting of different combinations of men and women. There is also a dedicated category for junior teams, open to runners aged 14 to 17 years. The minimum age for individual participation is 15.

The event is run under a license from Welsh Athletics. Facilities include parking at the National Trust car park, though traffic restrictions are implemented shortly before the race begins. Results are made available online following the conclusion of the event.

Awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place finishers in the following categories:
