Timber Trails Summer 2026
Timber Trails is a summer trail run held in the Bromsgrove countryside with the start and finish at Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove B61 7JP. The event is scheduled for Sunday 5 July 2026.
The route is approximately 6 miles and is mostly off-road, running through fields and woodland and using public footpaths. The course includes stiles, kissing gates and several testing hills, with a couple of short sections on quiet roads around Timberhonger Lane where roads remain open to traffic. Arrows and marshals guide participants around the route. A GPX file of the route will be uploaded soon.
Onsite registration is provided and runners receive a number to wear on their front. A short race briefing takes place at the start line. There is a water station on course and another after the finish; runners are advised to bring their own hydration and to avoid discarding bottles or wrappers on the route.
Facilities at Sanders Park include a small cafe, single toilets, urinals and an accessible toilet near the start and finish, plus existing park toilets. Free parking is available within the park and in a large field off Whitford Road by Echells Close. There are no bag drop or changing facilities. All finishers receive a medal and an official time; results are published online and on Facebook within 48 hours.
Dogs are allowed, one per runner, must be kept on a lead and kept away from livestock. Runners must be 15 years of age or over. No refunds, defers or transfers are available. Volunteers support the event in a range of roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
