The Snickerthon

The Snickerthon is an in-person, multi-lap running event organised by How Hard Can It Be Events at Chasewater Visitor Centre, Pool Lane, Burntwood (WS8 7NL). The event offers multiple distance choices:

  • 5k (ish)
  • 10K (ish)
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon

Each lap is approximately 5K around Chasewater Country Park. The course runs on a mixture of paths and footpaths and is described as relatively flat. The park setting includes open views and the possibility of seeing wild deer along the route.

Event facilities at Chasewater include a cafe, toilets and a children’s park. Aid stations will provide refreshments and other goodies. Finishers receive a special medal and may also receive a Snickers bar; entrants who register after 12pm on 25 May may receive an alternative medal due to later entries.

There is a parking charge at Chasewater. Ticket prices listed range from £26.00 for the 5km to £42.00 for the Marathon, with intermediate pricing for the 10K and Half Marathon. The event uses a multi-lap format that allows participants to complete the chosen distance by repeating laps on the same course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
