Swan Challenge takes place on 10 July 2026 at Coombe Abbey Park, CV3 2AB. It is a six-hour timed challenge that can be completed by running, hiking or walking. Entrants must be aged 17 and over on the event date. The course uses a loop of 3.3 miles, and participants choose how many laps to complete within the six-hour limit. A marathon distance requires eight laps and a half marathon requires four laps.

Course and logistics

The route is mostly on stone pathways with a meadow section on open grassland that may be muddy depending on recent weather. The course is described as relatively flat and wooded in places. A GPX file for the route is provided by the organiser. Parking on site costs up to £5 depending on stay length. There is a cafe and a toilet block next to the event HQ. The nearest train station is Coventry.

Entries, kit and other notes

Entry fees use tiered pricing: £37 before 10 June 2026 and £42 after that date; unaffiliated entrants pay an additional £2. Medals are provided, with an alternative Big Bear Tree Token option that funds tree planting and includes wildflower seeds. Dogs are not permitted and rucking is allowed. Participants can optionally make a donation to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity during entry; donated funds are passed directly to the charity.
