Swan Challenge : Coombe Abbey Park
Swan Challenge is a six-hour trail event held at Coombe Abbey Park, CV3 2AB. Participants complete as many 3.3 mile laps of the marked route as they wish within the six-hour time limit. Marathon distance requires eight laps and a half marathon requires four laps.
The route is mostly on stone pathways with a meadow section across open grassland that can become muddy depending on recent weather. The course is relatively flat and passes through areas of tree cover. A GPX file for the route is provided and the course will have markings on race day; the route may be subject to last minute changes.
On-site facilities include a cafe, a toilet block next to the event headquarters and public parking; parking costs up to £5 depending on stay duration. Coombe Abbey Park is on the outskirts of Coventry, approximately six minutes from Junction 2 of the M6, and the closest train station is Coventry.
Entry fees follow a tiered structure: before 10/06/2026 the fee is £37, after that date the fee is £42, and unaffiliated entrants pay an additional £2. Rucking is permitted at the event. Dogs are not permitted as the canicross season finishes in March. The event has been held previously. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
